Overnight Oats with Apples, Apricots, and Almonds

Overnight Morning Oats

Happy New Year, lovely readers around the globe!

Do you have a resolution this year? Have you decided to begin each morning with breakfast? (I hope so!)

Make it easier than ever by tossing a few favorite ingredients into a little jar before bedtime. Then just grab and go in the morning. Simply delicious, and no cooking required.

1/2 cup rolled oats
1/2 cup apple cider, water, or non-dairy milk
1/4 cup diced apples
1 tablespoon chopped pitted dates
1 tablespoon chopped dried apricots
1 tablespoon dried cranberries
1 tablespoon toasted slivered almonds
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon or apple pie spice


Add the rolled oats to a small jar, and cover with the liquid of your choice. Make sure the oats get immersed, at least for the most part.

Top with fruit and nuts. Cover jar tightly, and refrigerate overnight.

In the morning, warm briefly if desired, and enjoy!
