Easy Air-Fried Brussels Sprouts

These Easy Air-Fried Brussels Sprouts can help you reach oh-so-many goals this year, as you try to fit more green veggies into your menu.

Let’s start with a time saver, because no washing or prep work is required with this recipe before roasting. It’s budget-friendly, too (a package of frozen Brussels sprouts is around 99¢). Plus these are addictively delicious. I can eat an entire package all by myself!

Thanks to Chef AJ for the flavor inspiration, and to my dear friend (and colleague), Michele Gallo, who first came up with this shortcut to air-fry from frozen! : )

EASY AIR-FRIED BRUSSELS SPROUTS

Brussels Sprouts

1 pound frozen Brussels sprouts
kosher salt and black pepper to taste

Sweet Mustard Sauce

2 tablespoons brown mustard
2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar (or flavored vinegar of your choice)

Instructions

Place frozen Brussels sprouts in an Air Fryer and follow instructions for your machine. With a Philips, it usually takes around 16 minutes at 400 degrees. (I make this recipe in two batches.)

Mix together the ingredients for the Sweet Mustard Sauce.

Once the Brussels sprouts are golden, carefully remove from air fryer. Season with salt and pepper, drizzle with Sweet Mustard Sauce, and serve immediately.

    • Fresh cook a little bit differently. I usually slice fresh ones in half, and because cook time varies depending on size of the sprouts, start with 375 degrees and begin checking at around 12 minutes. : )
