These nutty treats are a quick little pick-me-up anytime. It’s not exactly bark – maybe more like little bites, but kind of looks like bark if you use your imagination. They’re no-bake, chewy, and delicious. Super easy to make, sweet, rich, and salty. We like them best frozen.
Just double or triple this recipe for a larger crowd.
MACADAMIA PEANUT BUTTER DATE BARK

12 Deglet Noor dates, pitted
1 tablespoon natural peanut butter
12 dry-roasted (salted) macadamia nuts, roughly chopped
Instructions
Have ready a baking sheet with either parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
Gently fan open each date, and place on parchment paper, sticky side up. Use your hands to press dates down, expanding them onto the baking sheet so that they are as close together as possible, touching, and forming a rectangle (rows of 4, columns of 3).
Drizzle with peanut butter. Spread evenly over the opened dates. Sprinkle macadamia nuts over the peanut butter.
Freeze for at least 30 minutes.
To serve, break into bite-size pieces. Freeze leftover bark in an airtight container.
