I know, I know. This is not really a recipe.
It’s more like just a nice change of pace in the morning, and of course, it’s simple, plant-based, and delicious.
I’ll bet you make your own version, too. What’s your favorite combination?
FAVORITE AVOCADO TOAST
1 or 2 slices sprouted grain bread (like Ezekiel)
1/2 small ripe avocado
juice of 1/2 fresh lemon
salt and pepper, to taste
splash of favorite hot sauce (Cholula is my favorite)
Toast the bread.
Meanwhile, in a small bowl, mash the avocado. Squeeze with fresh lemon juice, and season with salt and pepper. Combine well.
Spread avocado mixture on toast, drizzle with hot sauce, and enjoy.
